Our goal is to provide you with the best possible support in using your data so that you can work as productively and as inspired as possible. astroCloud takes the protection and security of your data seriously.

Your data is protected

What you store in astroCloud is treated as private. We neither sell nor give your data to third parties for advertising purposes. You decide yourself which of your data you share with others.

To protect your data from loss or theft, we keep it in a secure data center and backups. The communication between your browser and our data center is encrypted. Your password is also stored encrypted.

Your data is portable

astroCloud wants to ensure that you can leave the service quickly and easily if you want to. You can always export your data in the common AAF format. In astroCloud there is no data lock.

So you can delete all your data at any time.

Scope of processing personal data

We save and use your personal data only for the processing of your orders and for contacting you. If you have subscribed to our newsletter, we will also use your email address to send it.

Where is your data processed?

The data is only processed in our data centers in Germany and Switzerland.

What data does astroCloud collect

Basic information. In order to create your account, we collect your name, email address and your encrypted password.
We save and use your personal data only for the processing of your orders and for contacting you. If you have subscribed to our newsletter, we will also use your email address to send it.

Usage data. We collect your perfered language for astroCloud. Usage data can be collected using cookies and comparable technologies.

Browser information. We collect data on the number, type, operating system of the browser that you use to connect to our service and the time of the last (not every) access. In this way we improve astroCloud and we also prevent misuse of your account.

We delete this data within 24 months as soon as you delete your user account with us or when the statutory retention period has expired. You can delete your user account via the menu item "Profile"> "Delete".

Server logfiles

Whenever you call astroCloud, we automatically save certain data. These include IP address, type and version of the browser used, time, date, notification of successful data retrieval, as well as the website from which you come to our site.

This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user. The data is used and stored for error analysis, ensuring the security of the systems, logging access to paid services and improving astroCloud. The IP is anonymized after a maximum of 7 days and can no longer be assigned to anyone.

Horoscope data

If horoscope data, notes, links, etc. are saved in astroCloud, they will be assigned to your account. If you delete your account, the stored data will also be deleted. You can also delete this data individually.

Email address / newsletter

If you have subscribed to our newsletter, we will also save your email address. We delete this data when you delete your user account or when you unsubscribe from the newsletter. We only use this data to send the requested information and offers.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter.


We use "cookies" to provide you with a variety of functions and to improve your user experience. Cookies are tiny files that are stored on your computer via your browser. If you do not want to receive cookies, you can deactivate the storage of cookies on your computer by changing the settings of your browser accordingly. Please note that the functionality of the website may be impaired and the range of functions may be restricted if you deactivate cookies.

In particular, we use the following cookies:

  • Cookies to save your favorite languages ​​and user-defined settings
  • Cookies for Google Analytics (see next paragraph)
  • Google Analytics

    We use the web analysis service Google Analytics of Google LLC ("Google"). The use on is for statistical purposes only. No personalized data is requested or used.

    We use Google Analytics only with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and guaranteed to comply with European data protection law.

    Google uses cookies and transmits data that is stored in the USA. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser; as a result, you may not be able to use all functions of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under this link.

    You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is set that prevents the collection of your data on future visits to this website: deactivate Google Analytics.

    Your rights

    You have the following rights under European Union law. If you wish to exercise any of the rights below, simply write to us at the below address.

  • Right to confirmation and right to information - we will be happy to confirm whether we process your personal data, what data it is and for what purpose it is processed.
  • Right to rectification - if the data we store is incorrect, we will be happy to correct it.
  • Right of erasure - if you want your personal data to be deleted, we will, as far as legally possible, comply with your request. If data must be kept for legal reasons, it will be blocked. The data is then no longer available for further use.
  • Right to restriction of processing - should you wish to restrict use, we will, as far as legally possible, comply with your request.
  • Right of revocation - if you wish to revoke any consents already given, we will pursue your request accordingly.
  • Right to object - if your personal data are processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to point (f) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Article 21 of the GDPR if there are reasons for doing so that result from your particular situation or are against direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will accept without a particular situation being stated.   • You have the right to request information as to whether the personal data concerning you are being transferred to a third country or to an international organization. In this context, you can request to be informed about the appropriate guarantees in accordance with Article 46 GDPR in connection with the transmission.

    You also have the right to lodge a complaint to a supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data.
